YEAR OF INCORPORATION / ESTABLISHMENT:

In 1972 Kuri & Company (Pvt.) Limited has started business establishing Desh Scientific Corporation under Proprietorship Firm dealing in Scientific Instruments/ Equipments, Laboratory Glass wares, Laboratory Chemicals/Reagents etc. The Major Customers are Schools, Colleges, Universities, Hospitals, and Other Educational & Research Organizations. After conducting considerable business for more than 20 years, the Organisation starts to expand its trading activities in other fields of Products like Analytical Research Instruments, Medical & Diagnostic Equipment and established a Private Limited Company under the Nomenclature M/S KURI & COMPANY (Pvt.) LIMITED in 1990.

The Company have been continuing business most successfully in its respective fields with considerable gradual expansion under dynamic management.

It’s a Private Limited Company registered under Department of Joint Stock Company, Government of the People’s republic of Bangladesh.

MISSION:

The Company’s mission is to supply a comprehensive range of quality laboratory Chemicals, Reagents to research institutions & industries and Scientific Analytical Research Instruments Medical & Diagnostic Equipments to provide complete service for Customer Satisfaction.

SALES AND PURCHASE PERSONALS:

There are 7 sales and 2 purchase personals who are well qualified and skilled in their respective fields. Our sales force is quite capable to convince the End Users and make them understand on the merit and advantages of the products of our Principals. They are always active and very much aware of the competitor product’s advantages and disadvantages. They can distinctly narrate the comparison to the Customers to achieve the competitive advantage.

All sorts of Laboratory Chemical, Reagents & Media, Scientific, Research, Educational, Medical, Livestock, Meteorology, Hydrology, Mineralogy, Industrial Quality Control Instruments & Equipment and Laboratory Glass ware.

NATURE AND FIELD OF BUSINESS:

Importer, Distributor, Indentor, Stockiest and Supplier of items, which we deal in. We generally import some specific goods and maintain stock to meet the demand of Local Dealers as well as of the direct Users. We also represent the Foreign Manufacturers and Suppliers in Bangladesh and issue Indents to the Importers of the respective product on behalf of our Principal on commission basis. We prepare Project Profile for the Customers according to their demand.

NETWORK OF SALES:

We have extensive Sales and distribution network throughout the country and have several authorized Sales Agents in other Divisional Headquarters.

WORKSHOP & SERVICE BACK-UP FACILITIES:

We have well-equipped maintenance Workshop having most modern Testing and Calibrating Equipments, run by 1 qualified and experienced Engineer with the assistance of 2 skilled Technicians in the respective field. We render ‘After Sales Service’ and maintenance of all equipment supplied by us. We maintain stock of Spare Parts to meet the immediate demands in need. We often send our Engineer/Experts to the Principals Premises to have a better idea on the latest technology.

FINANCIAL ABILITIES/ BANKER:

We have financial capability to run business for considerable amount. We are also favored with financial assistance from our Banker Mercantile Bank Ltd. Main Branch, 61, Dilkusha Commercial Area, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh to run our gradual expanded business transactions /activities.

SCOPE OF BUSINESS AND OUR ACTIVITIES:

There are enormous scopes of business in the field of Science & Technology in a developing Country like Bangladesh. Kuri and Company (Pvt) Ltd plays a leading role in expanding the scope by utilizing the new technology. We have participation in International and Local Tender of huge purchase.

We have been transferring technology to the users supported by Catalogues and particular specifications from our Principal’s products to meet the actual demand of the users. Our activities in the field of modern scientific age has been expanded to meet the growing demand and now we are looking for PC based equipment, treatment equipment and Implants etc.

We also perform the job of Project Profile Preparation and Consultancy. We have skilled manpower in this sector to provide necessary technical specifications support as per demand of the customer / Users. We also suggest the Customer / Users to purchase the perfect instruments for perfect performance. While preparing any such Profile we always keep in mind that all our efforts, as well as future investment of the users may not be meaningless and wasteful. So, we sometimes request the manufacturers and Suppliers for Technical Assistance in respect of any specialised and sophisticated Instruments.
